Welcome

Ahipara Adventure Centre offers an extensive range of adventure-orientated hire equipment suitable for all ages, interests and levels of adventurous spirit. Quad bikes, blo-karts, surfboards, mountain bikes, sand toboggans, boogie boards and wetsuits are all for hire. Lessons are provided where required.

Ahipara is the gateway to 90 Mile Beach in the Far North of New Zealand.

We have a range of holiday home rentals available – prices on application.

QUAD BIKES
The quad bikes at Ahipara Adventure Centre are available for freedom hire to any person with a valid driver's licence (from any country). Each bike is fully automatic and licensed with COF. Instructions, maps and directions are provided. There is a wide range of terrain available to meet any skill level including coastal/beach riding or the rocks and sand dunes over reef point. Helmet provided.

Our quad bikes are great for corporate team building and group activities.

BLO-KARTS
These fun micro land yachts are suitable for ages 8 to 80. Lessons are provided for leaners. You can rent the blo-karts from half tide to low tide daily depending on the wind speed (varies based on experience level). Helmet provided.

KAYAKS

NZ$10 for half day or half price when you hire a quad bike

flippers available for $5 with boards, or $10 without board.

MOUNTAIN BIKES
Ahipara Adventure Centre has a range of quality mountain bikes available for hire. Helmets are provided. There is a mixture of road, beach and gumfield terrain available for your ride.

SURF BOARDS
Standard and long-board surf board hire is available daily. Ahipara surfing at Shipwreck Bay and Reef Point is first class. An assortment of wetsuits are are available for hire for $5 with your surfboard hire.

Location

Ahipara Adventure Centre is located in the village of Ahipara in the Far North of New Zealand. Ahipara is at the southern end of Ninety Mile Beach, 15 minutes west of Kaitaia and 2 hours from the Bay of Islands. When you drive into Ahipara follow the road to the right and Ahipara Adventure Centre is just past the shop/takeaways on the left side of the road.
